Qwic is a Dutch company and an innovative leader in the growing market of electric bicycles and scooters. As a relatively small company, Qwic took the challenge to create and develop an electric scooter, specially designed for city residents, from scratch.
What we created
REGGS created the Q-scooter in close cooperation with Qwic and signature designer Robert Bronwasser. Robert Bronwasser was responsible for the concept and design of the electric vehicle. The result is a bold & sturdy design that fits the city environment with functionalities that support the city life.
REGGS is responsible for the unique technical concept of an aluminium mono frame produced by a combination of extruding and bending. This forms the frame and assembly structure for the scooter, but also creates an exterior design element that protects the plastic exterior parts. The removable battery pack of 4 kWh in combination with an 5,5 kWh electric motor for the back wheel, gives an exciting acceleration and action radius of 160 Km.
The REGGS engineering team developed the turn-key Q-scooter project from first visual mock-up to a fully functional driving prototype ready for production. The Q-scooter is the lightest scooter in its category, with a low gravity point that contributes to a pleasant driving experience.
